A loving church family, members of historic Bethlehem United Methodist Church in Hueytown gathered together recently for the annual Harvest Luncheon. The worship service and harvest luncheon were held at the church on November 12.

Brother Roy Williams is the minister of the church.

Planning the event were Chairman of the Board Susan Wilson, Sue Smith, Deb Brady, Betty Williams, Larry Thornton, Betty Aydelott, William Chapman, Kay Poppee, Naomie McKnight, Maggie Howard, Karen McDonald, Judy Coggin and Ann Weirich.

A church filled with history and steeped in tradition, Bethlehem has hosted a Harvest Luncheon for nearly 200 years. They are truly thankful for how God has blessed them and the community.

The Harvest Luncheon is observed during the Thanksgiving season as a way to celebrate Bethlehem’s thankfulness.

Brother Williams stated, “It has been my honor to serve Bethlehem for nearly four years. We are a loving church family who welcomes everyone that walks through the front door.”
