Hueytown Arts Council is thrilled to announce the 2nd Annual United Worship event benefiting neighborhood bridges, Hueytown chapter on November 9, 6:00 p.m. at North Highlands Baptist Church! This year, six churches have joined together to participate in this mass worship service featuring guest speaker David Bannister, Vice-President of neighborhood bridges, a 501 (c)(3) organization. All are welcome and families with children are encouraged to attend.

Churches participating in this fundraiser, include: 

  • New Mt Moriah Baptist Church 
  • Summit Life Church Worship Group 
  • Greater New Antioch 
  • Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church 
  • 1st Missionary Baptist Church 
  • North Highland Baptist Church (event location) 

Jake Ware, President of Hueytown Arts Council said, “We are so excited to bring back United Worship, an evening of worship music, to fundraise for neighborhood bridges, Hueytown in 2023. Last year, we surpassed our fundraising goal for New Mt Moriah Baptist Church, which inspired the Hueytown Arts Council to make United Worship, an annual event benefiting similar groups in our region.” 

Neighborhood bridges is an organization helping to meet the needs of the community by providing direct support to families and individuals experiencing financial hardship and home displacement. Whether providing food, gas, clothes, schoolbooks, hygiene products or other assistance, Neighborhood Bridges takes great care in treating every person with kindness, dignity and respect during the most difficult situations.  

All funds raised at United Worship will benefit Neighborhood Bridges.
