The Advent season begins on December 1. Advent, the four Sundays before Christmas is a penitential season.
Historic Trinity Episcopal Church in Bessemer will observe the First Sunday in Advent by presenting an Advent program on Sunday, December 3 at 2:30 in the afternoon. An inspiring way to begin the holy season.
The program, A Sequence of Music and Readings for Advent will be played by noted church organist Floyd Barrett.
The sacred music and readings are associated with the coming of Christ.
The public is invited, and the church is located at 2014 Berkley Avenue in Bessemer.
