The Hoover Chamber Community recently gathered for the highly anticipated 2024 State of the City Membership Luncheon, an event that not only met but exceeded expectations. Mayor Frank Brocato took center stage, providing insights and updates on the city’s progress. The luncheon, made possible by the dedicated efforts of the Hoover Chamber staff, turned out to be a resounding success, setting a positive tone for the year ahead. 

A heartfelt thank you goes out to the Hoover Chamber staff, whose hard work and dedication played a significant role in making the event truly remarkable. Their efforts ensured that the luncheon not only met the high standards of the Hoover community but surpassed them, leaving attendees excited about the city’s future prospects. 

One of the highlights of the luncheon was the introduction of Rohen Porbanderwala as the 2024 Board Chair. Porbanderwala, representing Lake Crest Chevron, steps into this pivotal role with enthusiasm and a commitment to furthering the Chamber’s mission. The newly appointed Executive Board, alongside dedicated board members, promises to lead the Chamber with passion and innovation throughout the year. 

The 2024 Executive Board includes:

  • First Vice Chair: Kimberly Jackson – Alabama Power 
  • Second Vice Chair: Tyler Lipe – Regions 
  • Vice Chair of Administration: Kim Starling – Ascension St. Vincent’s

Joining them on the Board of Directors are esteemed individuals from various sectors, each bringing unique perspectives and expertise to the table:
