The Hueytown Chamber of Commerce is committed to making Hueytown a beautiful, family-oriented community in which to live, worship and work.

The Christmas season has been an ideal time for the Chamber to promote the city and its people.

The Chamber’s Christmas activities have been merry and jolly especially Supper with Santa held recently at Venue 3131 on Allison Bonnett Memorial Drive.

Chamber Director Debbie Kiker along with Jay Jacks and Wesley Wicks planned the festive event.

Ho. Ho. Ho! A crowd of over 225 people arrived dressed in their Christmas pajamas for a delicious supper with Santa Claus. The supper was sponsored by Hueytown McDonald’s, Venue 3131 and Food Giant. After supper, each child received a small goodie bag.

Joining Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus were their friends Frosty, Buddy the elf along with other elves and even the Grinch. They all visited with the children and took photos with all the good boys and girls.

There was also a special activity, making reindeer food hosted by Crossroad Baptist Church.
